WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Union College women's outdoor track & field team started its 2025 outdoor season on Saturday afternoon at the Dan Stimson Memorial Meet, hosted by the College of William & Mary at Zable Stadium.
In the first outdoor meet of the year, Union runners picked up three Liberty League Championship qualifiers and one AARTFC Outdoor Championship qualification as well as several personal bests in a solid start to the outdoor season.
Senior
Gabby Baker represented Union in the sprints, qualifying for the Liberty League Championships in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. She took sixth in the 200 with a career-best time of 26.35 seconds, and also grabbed fifth in the 400 by crossing the line in 59.63 seconds.
First-year
Kyleigh Record got her outdoor season off to a good start in the 800 meters, finishing in 2:18.05 to place sixth overall and qualify her for both the Liberty League and AARTFC Outdoor Championships.
Sophomore
Annabel Dobash was the team's top runner in the 1500 meters, finishing with a time of 5:07.00. Classmate
Emilie Rosecan had the team's top 3000-meter time at 11:29.07, while first-year
Charlotte Knight took first in the 2000-meter steeplechase by finishing in 8:50.64.
Union will return north for the remainder of its outdoor season, beginning next Saturday at the Coast Guard Invitational.
