PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Union College women's crew team finished off the 2024-25 season this weekend at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, with the Varsity 4+ boat taking third place after races on both Friday and Saturday morning on the Cooper River.

Sadie White (stroke) rowed to a finish of 8:24.48 in Friday's time trial, finishing behind three Division II boats and well ahead of three Division III competitors in fourth place. The Union boat finished closer to first place (23.9 seconds) than the fifth-place boat finished to them (24.2 seconds), providing a comfortable margin to reach the Division II/III V4+ final.
The quintet returned to the water on Saturday morning and earned a third-place finish, crossing the finish line in 8:31.66 to finish ahead of Division II Rollins College as well as Division III Marietta College and Rochester Institute of Technology. The University of Tampa took top honors with a time of 8:03.63, followed by Jefferson University in 8:20.23.
The successful weekend caps off another successful year on the water for the Garnet Charger women, including a second-place finish for the Varsity 4+ at the Liberty League Championships, a state title for the Second Varsity 8+, and a Metropolitan Championship for the Second Varsity 4+.
