CLIFTON PARK, N.Y.  – A program-record-tying 24 members of the Union College men's hockey team were recognized with spots on the 2024-25 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.

To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or have a GPA over 3.0 over the last three trimesters.

Seniors Cullen Ferguson, Josh Phillips, Thomas Richter and Caden Villegas led the way for Union by earning the honor for the fourth consecutive season. Junior Brandon Buhr was honored with a spot on the Commissioner's List, showcasing the top scholar-athlete from the 2024-25 season. Individuals previously named to the team are designated with an asterisk (*) signifying the number of years previously honored.
