At the New York State Championships, the pair helped the Varsity 4+ crew place third in the Grand Final against all Division I boats after winning its heat against four D-I crews. Gagliardi, a biology major, and Werkema, a biology and economics double major, also led the Garnet Chargers to a second-place finish in the D-II/D-III Varsity 4+ race at the historic Dad Vail Regatta to end the season.
Joseph earned her third straight IWLCA All-Region recognition and her second first-team selection in as many years after scoring a conference-best 69 goals with 17 assists for 86 points on the year, ranking second on Union's single-season list in both goals and points and ranking 22nd nationally in goals this year. With a season still to go, the neuroscience major already ranks fourth in school history with 161 goals, sixth with 212 points and 10th with 51 assists.
Compa was named to the IWLCA All-Region first team as one of only four draw specialists to earn All-Region honors this season. The biology major led the Liberty League and ranked 12th nationally with 149 draw controls, breaking the school single-season record in her first season at the position, to go with 18 goals with three assists for 21 points. Dembowski was a defensive leader for Union as a junior, earning her first IWLCA All-Region and All-Liberty League first-team laurels. The junior led the Liberty League with 58 ground balls and 3.22 ground balls per game, while also ranking fifth in the conference with a team-best 31 caused turnovers. The political science major will enter her senior year already sixth in program history with 68 caused turnovers to go with 143 career ground balls.
