SCOTIA, N.Y. – The Union College men's crew team opened its fall season at the 2025 Mohawk Fall Classic Regatta on Sunday afternoon.
It was a beautiful, sunny day for racing on the calm waters of the Mohawk River. The 3,700-meter course led boats past Union's home boathouse.
The Garnet Chargers sent three boats out on the water in the Collegiate 8+ race, which featured eight teams in total. Union's top-performing boat finished third with a time of 12:58.64. Sophomore

Taekjin Jeong handled the coxswain duties for Union's novice boat which placed seventh with a time of 15:00.34. Jeong was joined by seven other first-years in the boat with

The Garnet Chargers are scheduled to travel west to Rochester, N.Y. for their next regatta on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Head of the Genesee.
