IRVING, Texas – Eleven senior members of the Liberty League champion Union College football team were recognized for four years of academic achievement by earning spots in the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
The Honor Society is comprised of college football players across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who will graduate this year or a recent graduate who competed in the 2025 season. All nominees must maintain a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers as either a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2025 season.
Union's 11 honorees are the second-most in a season in program history, behind only the 13 from the 2022 campaign. The Garnet Chargers also led all Liberty League schools with their 11 selections and were one of 102 schools (out of 365 represented) to have at least 10 players recognized.
