SCHENECTADY, NY – Union College men's soccer standouts Adam Margulies and Sebastiaan Jensen have been honored by the Liberty League for their play in Union's two victories this past weekend, the conference announced Tuesday. Margulies, a sophomore, was named Co-Defensive Performer of the Week, while Jensen, a freshman, was dubbed Co-Rookie of the Week.

 

Margulies posted two shutouts this weekend with 1-0 wins against Clarkson and St. Lawrence. He made two saves Friday night and three on Saturday for his first two shutouts of the season.

 

Jensen had a hand in both game-winning goals this weekend. He tallied the winning goal during the 49th minute against Clarkson and assisted on the winner against defending Liberty League Champs St. Lawrence.

 

The Dutchmen are in action on Tuesday, Sept 29 with a 4:30 p.m. start at SUNY Cobleskill.
