Heck now moves on to consideration for Academic All-American honors, and the NCAA Division III Academic All-American teams are scheduled to be announced on May 30.

This season, Heck started in all 40 games for the Dutchmen and led the team with a .379 batting average. The Clinton, New York native also led with 53 hits, 34 runs and was second in RBIs with 31. Hitting safely in 35 of 40 games, Heck had separate hitting streaks of eight and 10 games.
