Women's tennis earns 9-0 sweep in dual match at Hartwick

Senior Dee Dee Gaudian earned wins in singles and doubles play at Hartwick.

ONEONTA, NY - The Union College women's tennis team improved to 2-1 on the season with a 9-0 dual match sweep at Hartwick on Thursday. Freshman Hannah Webster (No. 1), freshman Hayley Lough (No. 2), senior Dee Dee Gaudian (No. 3), junior Lauren Main (No. 4), junior Samantha Muratori (No. 5) and freshman Kate Collins (No. 6) all earned straight sets singles wins.

Gaudian and Webster teamed for an 8-1 win in the No. 1 doubles spot, while Collins and Main won 8-3 in the No. 2 spot, and Muratori and Lough won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.

Union will host SUNY Plattsburgh on Saturday in a dual match that begins at 2:00 p.m.
