RUTLAND, VT - The Union College women's tennis team (4-1) earned its third straight dual match victory with a 9-0 win over Castleton State. The win was Union's third 9-0 sweep of the fall season.
Hannah Webster (No.1),
Hayley Lough (No. 2),
Dee Dee Gaudian (No. 3),
Lauren Main (No. 4),
Samantha Muratori (No. 5) and
Kate Collins (No. 6) all earned straight sets singles victories.
Gaudian and Webster teamed for an 8-1 win in No. 1 doubles, while Main and Collins won 8-3 in No. 2 doubles. Lough and Muratori earned an 8-0 win in the No. 3 doubles spot.
Union will host The Sage Colleges at the Union College Tennis Courts on Oct. 2 at 4:00 p.m.
