DANBURY, CT -- Union College senior goaltender Kim Grinhaus has been named the ECAC Division III North Atlantic Defensive Player of the Week for games through Monday, May 3.

Grinhaus was named Co-MVP of the Liberty League tournament, as she made a career high 16 saves in Union's title game win over Skidmore. She allowed just six goals in each game in leading Union to its first league title since 2006. This is her second weekly honor of the season as she received the Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week earlier this week. She was named to the Liberty League All Star First Team on May 4.

Union (13-3) plays in an NCAA Div. III Second Round Game Sunday, May 10 at York College of Pennsylvania. Game time is 1 p.m.
