ALBANY, NY – A program-record 22 members of the Union College men's ice hockey team have received 2015-16 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team recognition, the league announced
Thursday afternoon. The 22 All-Academic selections surpasses the program's previous record of 20 honorees from 2012-13.
Among the 22 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team, 13 were repeat honorees, led by seniors
Theo Di Pauli von Treuheim,
Sebastien Gingras and
David Roy, who became four-time recipients. Di Pauli von Treuheim was also named to the Commissioner's List as the team's top scholar for the second consecutive season.
Eligibility is based on having a cumulative grade point average above a 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) or by posting a 3.00 GPA or higher over the past three semesters.
