SCHENECTADY, NY - The softball team won the 8th Annual Union SAAC Family Feud Tournament on May 16 at the Olin Auditorium. The event, hosted by the Union College Athletics Student Athlete Advisory Committee, once again raised funds to charity.
Each of the 21 participating teams provided an entry fee, and all the funds ($500) went to Kristen Shinebarger, the daughter of Shelly Shinebarger, Director of Student Support Services at Union College. Kristen is undergoing treatment for cancer.

Nikki Ditizio.
This team's "road to the title" featured victories over field hockey (214-80), defending champion women's ice hockey (277-96), volleyball (318-0), and in the championship round, 434-128 over men's basketball.
Previous winners of the tourney have included Men's Swimming & Diving, Women's Golf, Women's Basketball, Men's Cross Country, Men's Track & Field, Men's Lacrosse and Women's Ice Hockey.
