vs Brown
The Dutchmen enter the weekend trailing in the all-time series against Brown, 20-23-12, however Union has won seven of the last 10 meetings against the Bears. The last loss the Union suffered at Meehan Auditorium was on Jan. 21, 2012, as the Bears skated to a 3-2 win.
Union swept last season's series, securing a 3-1 win at home on Dec. 1, 2017, before
Darion Hanson earned his first collegiate shutout with 20 saves for 2-0 win in Providence on Jan. 20.Â
vs Yale
Neither side owns an advantage, as the series record between the Dutchmen and Bulldogs sits at 26-26-6 since Union became a Division I program in 1991-92. However, in recent years Union has held a slight advantage, winning six of the last 10 games against Yale.Â
Yale and Union met just two weeks ago in Belfast, Northern Ireland in the opening game of the 2018 Friendship Four. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, but Union claimed a 2-1 shootout win to advanced to a 2-1 win over Boston University for the tournament championship. Yale ended up defeating UConn, 6-3, in the consolation game.
Last season the two teams split the regular-season matchup, as Yale won in Schenectady, 5-3, while Union won in New Haven, 3-2. Interestingly enough, neither team has a winning record at home against each other. Union trails 11-16-2 at home against Yale, but owns a 14-10-3 record in New Haven.Â
Last Time Out
