Final Leaderboard

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Union College women's golf team finished off the 2019 fall season with a seventh-place finish at the New York University Fall Invitational, held at the Forest Hill Field Club on Saturday and Sunday.
 
The Dutchwomen carded a round of 369 on Sunday to finish the weekend with a two-day score of 737, finishing 25 strokes back of Vassar College in sixth place and 47 strokes ahead of eighth-place Drew University. Williams College took top honors with a two-day score of 637, 12 strokes ahead of runner-up NYU.
 
Junior Lisa Spagnuolo had the team's best round of the weekend on Sunday, firing a round of 87 to give her a team-best two-day score of 179 and sole possession of 31st place. Classmate Juls Sweet finished with a 94 on Sunday to end the weekend in a tie for 33rd place at 183.
 
Senior Molly Wiener finished in a tie for 36th place, carding rounds of 91 and 94, while freshman Alexandra Cymbal and sophomore Ashley Harding shot 95 and 94, respectively, on Sunday to both finish in a tie for 41st place at 191.
 
Playing as individuals, sophomore Kiara Beckham shot a 92 on Sunday to finish at 190 for the weekend and freshman Colleen Buckley finished at 195.
 
Union will take the winter off before returning to competition in March during the team's annual Spring Break trip.
