ROME, N.Y. – The Union College women's golf team tied a program single-round record with a 319 to sit in third place out of seven teams after day one of the Liberty League Championships, held at Teugega Country Club on Friday afternoon.
Union's 319 is a new program standard for postseason competition and matches the previous program overall record that was set at the St. Lawrence Invitational on September 5, 2021. The Garnet Chargers sit in third place after day one, behind #4 New York University (287) and #14 Wellesley College (302) and four strokes ahead of Ithaca College (323).
