Final Leaderboard
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Union College women's golf team shot a team round of 352 on day two of the Williams College Fall Invitational to finish in 10th place with a two-day score of 711 on Saturday and Sunday at Taconic Golf Club.
The Dutchwomen improved seven strokes from yesterday's round but could not improve their standing on the leaderboard, finishing 11 strokes back of Mount Holyoke College. Host Williams held off NESCAC rival Amherst College to take first place with a two-day score of 619, five strokes better than the Mammoths.
Sophomore
Ashley Harding was the top scorer for Union on the weekend, following yesterday's round of 89 with the team's best round of the event, an 86 that moved her five spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 40th place with a 175.
Senior
Molly Wiener carded an 88 on Sunday to finish the two days at 177, good for a 47th-place finish. She was followed by junior
Lisa Spagnuolo, who finished with rounds of 87 and 93 to finish in a tie for 51st place, and freshman
Alexandra Cymbal, who carded an 88 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 57th place at 183.
Sophomore
Kiara Beckham finished 61st with a two-day score of 184, while junior
Juls Sweet (94-87-181) and freshman
Colleen Buckley (102-95-197) also competed as individuals for Union on the weekend.
Union will finish its fall schedule next weekend at the NYU Fall Invitational, taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Forest Hill Field Club.
