Dutchwomen compete in Boston and Hamilton

DAVID HEMERY INVITE RESULTS   |   CLASS OF '32 RESULTS

BOSTON –
The Union College women's track and field team competed at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational and Colgate's Class of 1932 Invitational this past weekend.
 
At the indoor track in Boston, Amanda Ashmen and Dayna Young recorded new personal bests; Ashmen in the 800-meter with a time of 2:31.92, and Young in the 1km with a time of 3:15.82. Kaitlin Close also recorded a college best in the 800m with a time of 2:23.14.
 
The three, along with Samantha Miller, also competed in the distance medley relay on the first day of competition. The group recorded a time of 13:30.28 in the event.
 
Union's competition in Hamilton was highlighted by Abby Valachovic recording a personal best time in the mile with a time of 5:50.98.
