BEIJING – Former Union men's hockey player Parker Foo is going down in Olympic history books as the first member of the Chinese men's national team to score a goal in the Olympics.
Foo's goal took place at 19:14 of the second period against Germany on Saturday at the National Indoor Stadium. After a shot from teammate Jake Chelios was blocked, Foo scooped up the rebound and fired it past German goaltender Mathias Niederberger for the score.
