TROY, N.Y. – Following a 9-1 season that saw the Union College football team earn its first NCAA bid since 2019, 15 members of the team were recognized with a spot on the All-Liberty League Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Five student-athletes earned a spot on the All-Liberty League First Team: Michael Fiore (RB), Matt McCorkle (OL), Jimaar Edwards (DL), Spencer Goldstien (LB), and Max Gluck (PK). Edwards earns his second All-Liberty League First Team honor after being previously recognized in 2021. Goldstien and McCorkle both move up to the first team after being honored last season.

Union also saw six student-athletes earn a spot on the All-Liberty League Second Team: Donovan Pacatte (QB), Landers Green (WR), Kevin Dewing (OL), Ethan VanderBrink (DL), Cole DaSilva (LB), and Nathan Sullivan (DB). Dewing was honored for the third straight season while Pacatte garnered second-team honors for the second season in a row. Sullivan earned a spot on the second team after earning honorable mention accolades in 2021.
Four members of the team earned All-Liberty League Honorable Mention: Garrett Cafaro (TE), Nick Olivola (OL), Tommy Cavallo (LB), and Matt Mitchell. Cafaro and Cavallo were both honored for the second time in their careers.

Seven earned All-League accolades for the first time in their careers: Fiore, Gluck, Green, DaSilva, VanderBrink, Olivola, and Mitchell.

Union's All-Conference players return to action on Saturday in the start of NCAA Tournament. The Garnet Chargers travel to Delaware Valley University at noon on Saturday.
