Jack Anderson,
Aidan Donnelly and
Max Gluck of the Union College football team were recognized for four years of academic achievement by earning spots in the 2024 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
The Honor Society is comprised of college football players across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who will graduate this year or a recent graduate who competed in the 2024 season. All nominees must maintain a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers as either a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2024 season.
Anderson spent his time at linebacker for Union, appearing in eight games as a senior, and is a biomedical engineering major and electrical engineering minor. Donnelly played in nine games in 2024 as one of the team's top tight ends and is a four-time Liberty League All-Academic Team honoree as a mechanical engineering major. Gluck served as one of the team's primary placekickers for the second straight season and the managerial economics major and data analytics minor earned a third Liberty League All-Academic Team honor this year.
With the three selections, Union has had 49 players named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society since 2016.
