SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Novice 4+ boat captured a conference title to lead the Union College men's crew team to a successful morning on the water at the Liberty League Championships, held on Friday morning at Fish Creek.
The Novice 4+ had the highest finish of the day for Union, capturing the fourth conference win for the program since 2004. The boat finished the course in 8:41.03 to easily outpace second-place University of Rochester by over 22 seconds to take home the program's first Novice 4 title. Helmed by first-year

Ian Porter.
The Second Varsity 8+ continued their excellent spring with a fourth-place showing in the final, finishing in 7:21.17 to end up less than six seconds behind Skidmore College in third and nearly 13 seconds ahead of Rochester Institute of Technology in fifth. With senior

The Varsity 8+ boat finished less than three seconds out of third place in a very competitive race, crossing the finish line fifth just behind both RIT and St. Lawrence University with a time of 7:03.05. Led by senior coxswain
