SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Due to snow on the fields at Reinhart Baseball Field and Central Park "A" Diamond, the Union College baseball team's opening weekend of games has been altered.
The Garnet Chargers' season debut against SUNY Maritime on Saturday, Feb. 28 was canceled and their home opener against Russell Sage College on Sunday, March 1 was postponed. A makeup date for the doubleheader with the Gators will be posted on the team's schedule page when it becomes available.
In the meantime, the Garnet Chargers are now set to play their first game of the year on Wednesday, March 4 against Mount St. Mary College at 4 p.m. at home.
