TAMPA, FLUnion's hitters managed just five hits and one run in 13 innings and dropped a pair of games on the second day of the Dutchmen's spring trip. Middlebury captured an 8-1 decision and Western Connecticut beat the Garnet, 13-0.

Keith Christensen fanned five in the opener for the Panthers while Jim Johnston struck out eight for Western Connecticut. Union is now 2-2.
