FT. MYERS, FL -- Wisconsin-Whitewater defeated Union College, 4-2 in softball action Sunday. The Dutchwomen fell to 0-2 after their first day of the season in Ft. Myers Sunday.

Julie Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) had two of Union's six hits in the second game defeat. Wisconsin-Whitewater also had six hits in the game off Union pitcher Abby Arceneaux (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville).

Union continues the spring trip Monday with a 1 p.m. contest against Colby and a 4 p.m. game against Carroll.
