FT. MYERS, FL -- Union posted the softball program's first-ever win against national power Southern Maine Thursday, 10-0, to improve to 5-3 on the season.

Abby Arceneaux (Mechanicville/Mechanicville) allowed just one hit in the victory, and also had two hits while scoring two runs for the Dutchwomen. Julie Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) also led the Dutchwomen with two hits and three RBIs. Karyn Rautenberg (Boston, MA/Latin School) added two hits for the winners.

Union will close out the spring trip in Florida with morning games against D'Youville and Fredonia on Friday.
