FT. MYERS, FL -- Abby Arceneaux (Mechanicville/ Mechanicville) allowed just two hits and starred at the plate as Union wrapped up a spring break week in Florida with an 8-0 triumph over Fredonia Friday.

The Dutchwomen improved to 7-3 on the young season. Arceneaux was 2 for 4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs. The Dutchwomen posted 13 hits on the day. Julie Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) was 3 for 3 with a double and a team-high three RBIs. Kelly Owings (Oswego, NY/Oswego) had three hits in three trips to the plate while Beth Carcone (Utica, NY/New Hartford) added two hits in the offensive onslaught.

Union will return to action on Tuesday, March 29 at New Paltz.
