King was 2 for 4 with the homer and four RBIs in the first game, helping Union to a five run third inning that erased a 1-0 deficit.
Bridget Graham had three hits in the leadoff spot and
Michelle Rogers added two hits in the victory, as Union banged out 12 hits against the Pioneers.
Ginni Sack won her 11th of 13 decisions, as the senior southpaw allowed seven hits and two earned runs while striking out two.
Tiffany Ippoliti now is 9-2 after her first game victory. She pitched four shutout innings while allowing four hits before
Lindsay Colvin came in with the big lead for work for the final inning. Graham had two hits and three RBIs and King added three hits.
Lauren Hoffman was 2 for 4 and Union had 13 hits in this victory.
The Dutchwomen, 2-2 in Liberty League play, will host RPI Friday at Alexander Field at 3:30 p.m.
