SCHENECTADY, NY -- Eve Richards was named to the all-tournament team and had 15 kills on the day while the Union College volleyball team posted two three game sweeps at the Hamilton Invitational Saturday. Union is now 10-7 after wins over Regis and host Hamilton.

Union downed Regis, 25-23, 25-12 and 25-11, and then swept the hosts, 25-9, 25-14 and 25-17.

In the first match of the day, Richards had nine kills, six digs and three service aces, while Rachel Ormsby had 10 kills, four blocks and three aces. Erika VanValkenberg dished out 29 assists and Veronica Mynders finished with 16 digs. 

Richards had six kills and Noral Wood had 11 digs with five kills in the win over the Continentals. Jordan Remillard had five kills, VanValkenberg recorded 26 assists and Mynders had 10 digs.

Union will compete at Williams Tuesday night, September 29 at 7 p.m.
