Sakellaropoulos made 14 saves in the third period.

UNION VS. COLGATE ALL-TIME SERIES
The Raiders lead the all-time series 35-19-3, winning four of the last five meetings.  In the first meeting between the two teams this season, Union posted its first regular season win against Colgate since January 19, 2013, snapping a four-game losing streak against the Raiders. The Dutchmen, who will be playing their first game at the new Class of 1965 Arena, are 0-3-1 in their last four games at Colgate with their last road win coming on Feb. 25, 2012 (5-3).
LAST MEETING: Feb. 4, 2017 – Union 3, Colgate 1 – Sophomore Jake Kupsky made 26 saves, including 23 over the final two periods, backstopping the Dutchmen to a 3-1 win. Mike Vecchione netted the game-winning goal at 12:39 of the third period and Nick DeSimone and Spencer Foo rounded out the scoring for Union.

UNION VS. CORNELL ALL-TIME SERIES
Union is 20-32-7 against Cornell in its Division I era. The Dutchmen were 1-2-0 at Lynah Rink last season, winning the regular season matchup and dropping both games in the ECAC Hockey First Round. Saturday's game will be the fifth straight meeting between the two sides with at least one team ranked in the top 20.
LAST MEETING: Feb. 3, 2017 – Union 3, Cornell 5 – Union erased a two-goal deficit, tying the game at 3-3 in the third period, but Jake Weidner and Anthony Angello scored  scored 39 seconds apart to lift the Big Red to a 5-3 win at Messa Rink. Kupsky made his first start since Nov. 4, finishing with 30 saves, including 17 in the first period.

SCOUTING COLGATE
Colgate is coming off a 0-1-1 weekend after suffering a 3-0 loss at Clarkson before playing to a 1-1 tie at then 17th-ranked St. Lawrence. Six of the Raiders eight wins this season have come at home (6-5-3).

SCOUTING CORNELL
Cornell extended its unbeaten streak to seven last week, notching a 4-2 win at then 17th-ranked St. Lawrence and skating to a 3-3 tie at Clarkson. The Big Red is 6-3-2 at Lynah Rink this season.

QUICK HITS
- Alex Sakellaropoulpos was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week for the fourth time this season after stopping 52 of 55 shots.
- Union notched its first regular-season sweep of Quinnipiac since the 2009-10 season.
- Union scored three goals in a 1:40 span in last Friday's win against the Bobcats and tallied two goals in 58 seconds Saturday against Princeton.
- The Dutchmen are 14-0-2 in their final regular season home series since 2009-10.
- The Dutchmen lead DI with 124 goals and rank fifth in team offense (3.88 goals/gm).
- Union is second in Division I with 11 empty-net goals.
- Union improved to 13-1-0 when scoring first.
- The Dutchmen are 9-0-0 when Jeff Taylor scores a goal and 17-3-0 when he produces a point.
- Union is 11-0-0 when being outshot.

JUST WIN BABY
With only two regular season games remaining for all ECAC Hockey teams, Union can finish anywhere from 1-3 in the conference standings. The simplest route for the Dutchmen is to win both games, which would secure them the Cleary Cup as regular season champions for the fourth time in program history. Union's game plan for the weekend will be to win both games, as the other scenarios are far too complex.

NEXT UP
Union is off next weekend thanks to a first-round bye for the ECAC Hockey playoffs. The Dutchmen will host a best-of-three ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series March 10-12.
