This Weekend
The Dutchmen hit the road for an ECAC Hockey series this weekend, Nov. 15-16, traveling to Quinnipiac on Friday and Princeton on Saturday. Both games are set for 7 p.m. (ET) start times.
Media Coverage
Both games will be streamed on the ESPN Plus platform. Viewers outside of the United States can access the streams through StretchInternet. An online audio stream for Friday's contest at Quinnipiac will be available through mixlr.com/qbsn/. Unfortunately, there will be no online audio stream for Saturday's game at Princeton. Live stats will be available through the respective host institution's athletics website.

Career Firsts
Eight of the 10 first-year skaters have already recorded their first collegiate points, with six of them doing so in the first weekend of competition.

Dylan Anhorn are all tied for team lead in freshman scoring, with four points apiece.
vs Quinnipiac
Union enters the weekend with an undefeated streak of seven games against the Bobcats. The last time Union lost to Quinnipiac was on Jan. 17, 2016, by a score of 5-0 in Hamden. Last season, the Dutchmen defeated Quinnipiac 5-1 at People's United Center on Nov. 10, 2018, before settling for a 1-1 tie with the Bobcats in Schenectady on Feb. 15.
Overall, the Dutchmen trail 17-18-5 in the series against Quinnipiac, and also trail 8-10-1 in games played in Hamden.
Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac is 4-4-1 on the season, and 0-1-1 in ECAC Hockey competition after losing 7-2 to Harvard and tying Dartmouth, 2-2, last weekend. The Bobcats are still looking for their first win of November, as they started off the month with two losses at Arizona State. However, the Bobcats opened the season with back-to-back 3-2 wins against AIC, and then picked up wins against Maine and Vermont before closing out October.
Junior Keith Petruzzelli returns in net for the Bobcats. Through nine appearances this season, he holds an .892 save percentage and a 2.87 goals-against average Junior forward Odeen Tufto leads the Bobcats in scoring despite having not scored a goal yet this season. Tufto's 11 assists is tied for third most in the nation.
vs Princeton
Union enters the weekend with a 35-23-7 all-time Division I record against the Tigers. The Dutchmen have won seven of the past 10 games, including the last meeting on Feb. 16 in which Union won 3-2.
While the Dutchmen own a commanding record of 19-9-4 in games at Messa Rink, Union is 16-13-3 in games played at Hobey Baker Rink.
Scouting the Tigers
Princeton is 1-2-1 on the season and is 0-2-0 in conference play after 3-0 and 3-1 losses to Harvard and Dartmouth, respectively, last weekend. The Tigers began their season during the Nov. 1-2 weekend with a 5-3 win and 5-5 tie at St. Cloud State.
Senior forward Jackson Cressey leads the Tigers in scoring with two goals and four assists. Sophomore Corey Andonovski is close behind with four goals and one assist. In net Princeton has split time between freshman Aidan Porter and junior Ryan Ferland. Porter hods a 0-1-1 record with an .877 save percentage and 3.91 goals-against average, while Ferland is 1-1-0 with a .906 save percentage and a 3.05 goals-against average.
Doing it the Hard Way
Freshman forward
Christian Sanda was one of five players to score a shorthanded goal during the opening weekend of play, Oct. 5-6. His shorthanded goal came during the second period at Army West Point on Oct. 6.
Last Time Out
The Dutchmen dropped two home games last weekend, losing 5-1 to No. 8/9 Clarkson and 3-2 in overtime to St. Lawrence.

Summary: First-year defenseman
Dylan Anhorn scored his first collegiate goal, tying the game at 1-1 midway through the first period. All five of Clarkson's goals came within the opening three minutes or closing three minutes of the period. Neither team capitalized on the power play, as both went 0-for-2 on the man advantage.
Darion Hanson made a total of 27 saves in net for the Dutchmen, while Frank Marotte made 19 on the other end of the ice for the Golden Knights.

Owen Farris recorded his first career goal at the 10:04 mark of the first period, while

Josh Kosack and Farris continues to be a spearhead for the Union offense, as the line finished with a +1 plus/minus rating despite the loss. Union dominated the first half of the contest, and out-shot the Saints 22-12 through the first two periods. However, St. Lawrence out-shot Union, 10-7, in the third period and 1-0 in overtime.
