Career Firsts
Nine of the 10 first-year skaters have recorded their first collegiate points, with six of them doing so in the first weekend of competition. Gabriel Seger leads the freshman class in scoring, with 16 points, stemming from five goals and 11 assists.

vs Princeton
Union leads in the all-time series against Princeton, 36-23-7, and owns a home record of 19-9-4 against the Tigers. More recently, Union has won seven of the past 10 meetings, and 19 of the last 25 meetings. Prior to Princeton winning three games in a row during 2018, the Tigers had not defeated Union since 2009.

Earlier this season, Union defeated Princeton at Hobey Baker Rink in overtime, 2-1. Princeton had scored first, but Dylan Anhorn scored on the power play to tie the game and Gabriel Seger scored in OT for the Union victory.

Scouting the Tigers
Princeton holds a 4-17-4 record and sits in 11th place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a conference record of 2-13-3. Their two conference wins have both come against St. Lawrence, which includes last week's 6-3 win over the Saints. After defeating St. Lawrence last weekend, the Tigers then dropped a 3-1 decision to Clarkson the following night.

Forwards Corey Andonovski and Jackson Cressey both lead the Tigers in scoring with 18 points each. Junior forward Luke Keenan is a close third with 15 points, but leads the Tigers in goals with seven. Sophomore Jeremie Forget has played the slight majority of time in net for Princeton this season. He has posted a 3-7-1 record with a .914 save percentage and a 2.75 goals-against average.

vs Quinnipiac
Union trails in the all-time series with Quinnipiac, 17-19-5. However, the Dutchmen have gone 5-3-2 in the last 10 meetings with the Bobcats, which includes a seven-game undefeated streak from February 2016 to February 2019. At home, Union has also fared better at home against Quinnipiac, posting a winning record of 8-6-4 at Messa Rink.

Earlier this season, Union dropped a close 2-1 contest to the Bobcats on Nov. 15. Sean Harrison scored in the first period to give Union the early lead. However, Quinnipiac scored on the power play in the second period to tie the game, before eventually scoring midway through the third period for the eventual win.

Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac enters the weekend with an overall record of 18-10-2 and sits in third place in the ECAC Hockey standings with an 11-5-2 conference record. The Bobcats' success has earned them the No. 14 spot in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, and the No. 16 spot in the USCHO.com poll. Last weekend saw Quinnipiac split a weekend at home, losing to Clarkson, 3-2, before defeating St. Lawrence 6-1.

Junior forward Odeen Tufto leads the Bobcats in scoring with 34 points, stemming from five goals and 29 assists, and his 34 points rank him second in ECAC Hockey. Wyatt Bongiovanni and Alex Whelan lead the team with 13 goals each and are second and third, respectively, in team scoring for the Bobcats. In net, junior Keith Petruzzelli holds an 18-9-2 record with a .916 save percentage and a 2.12 goals-against average.

Doing it the Hard Way
Freshman forward Christian Sanda was one of five players to score a shorthanded goal during the opening weekend of play, Oct. 5-6. His shorthanded goal came during the second period at Army West Point on Oct. 6.
