COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Union College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both recognized for their success in the classroom last trimester by earning spots on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2020 semester.
To be eligible for selection, teams must achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester. Led by head coach
Scott Felix, the Dutchwomen easily surpassed the standard with a team GPA of 3.40, while the Dutchmen also posted a 3.14 team GPA to earn the honor as well.
The CSCAA names Scholar All-American Teams in both the fall and spring semesters, as well as naming individual Scholar All-Americans during the spring as well.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
