Meghan Piser earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors, the League announced Monday.
Piser scored twice in the win against Skidmore College. Piser scored her first collegiate goal in the 49
th minute, off a cross from senior
Hanna Raymond. This made it 1-0 Union and was the eventual game winner. Piser would tally again in the second half, this time scoring off a rebound from senior
Fiona Zimmerman's shot. Union won this game 2-0 and clinched a playoff spot in the process.

Piser is the second Union College women's soccer player to win the honor this season. First-year
Sam Friedman is other player and she done it twice.Â

The Dutchwomen earned the third seed in the upcoming Liberty League Tournament and they will host the sixth seed Vassar College on Tuesday, November 2nd, at 7 p.m. at College Park Field for the first round of the League tournament.
