SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's tennis team was yet again recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association both as a team and individually for their high achievement in the classroom this season. The team was named an ITA All-Academic Team for the sixth straight year, while a record nine Dutchwomen earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors as well.
The Dutchwomen made it six years in a row as an All-Academic Team after another superlative effort in the classroom, posting a team GPA of 3.586 for 2020-21. The team comfortably exceeded the minimum requirements of a cumulative 3.20 GPA on a 4.00 scale for all varsity letter winners, boasting one of the top GPAs among Union teams once again this year.
Individually, Union boasted nine student-athletes named ITA Scholar-Athletes, recognizing varsity letter winners with a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year. Senior
