Final Leaderboard

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's golf team finished its fall season on Saturday at Mohawk Golf Club, coming four strokes short of Division II College of Saint Rose in a dual match, 393-397.
 
Union hung with the Division II Golden Knights on a cool Saturday on the course, going stroke-for-stroke with the final three scorers only to come a few strokes short in the final tally.
 
Junior Liz Bentsianov was Union's top scorer with a round of 85 on the par-71 setup, earning second place behind St. Rose's Erika Fuentes, who carded a day-best 81. Bentsianov recorded six pars during a steady front nine, and had one of the day's two birdies with a two on the par-3 15th hole.
 
Junior Katerina Dimacopoulos tied for third place on the day with a round of 95, followed two strokes back by sophomore Shea White with a 97 that tied her for fifth place. Sophomore Delaney Fox rounded out Union's scorers with a 120 to tie for seventh place.
 
Union will take the rest of the fall and winter off from competition before returning to action in the spring. A full spring schedule will be released in the coming months on UnionAthletics.com.
