ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College men's swimming and diving saw several strong swims on day two of the 13
th Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite on Saturday at Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
After two days of competition, the Union College men's swimming and diving is in eighth place with 254 points and only 11 points back from seventh-place Nazareth University. Ithaca College is currently in first with 959 points.
First-year
Nick Megas earned a spot on Union's top-10 times list in the 200-yard freestyle. Megas earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:43.14 to claim 10
th on Union's top-10 list. Megas nearly added a second time to the list in the 50 free with a time of 21.29, which earned him third in the B final.
Junior
Drew Hill placed sixth in the 50 free with a time of 21.36 and was only .03 seconds off of the fifth-place finisher.
The finals session on Saturday evening opened with the 200 free relay. Union's team of Hill, junior

Walter Kraus, and junior
Josh Hiller finished in 12
th with a time of 1:29.70.
Green and first-year
Crosby Grim both earned a spot in the C final of the 100 breaststroke and finished with times of 1:03.44 and 1:04.46, respectively.
The 400 medley relay of Megas, Green, Kraus, and Hill finished in 3:39.60 to claim 12
th.
Friday night saw a limited number of Union swimmers compete. Union's 800 free relay team of first-year
Brayden Green, senior Anthony Piacentini, first-year
Finn Weafer, and first-year
Myles Gronbach place 15
th with a time of 7:53.22. Piacentini went on to place 13
th in the 1650 free with a time of 17:41.80 while Weafer clocked in at 18:33.48 to finish 15
th.
The Garnet Chargers close out the Bomber Invitational tomorrow beginning at 9:00 am at Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
