ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving team closed out the 13
th Annual Bombers Invitational on Sunday afternoon at Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium. The Garnet Chargers finished eighth with 556 points out of nine teams.
The 200 medley team of sophomore
Ella Bouvier, senior
Molly Miller, sophomore
Samantha Picciotti, and sophomore
Sarah Ramirez placed 12
th with a time of 1:59.23.
The sophomore tandem of Jessica Konsky and
Amelia Dino both qualified for the B final of the 200 backstroke and went back-to-back with times of 2:13.42 and 2:13.69 to finish second and third, respectively, in their final.

Chloe Matthews swam a 1:02.75 in the B final of the 100 butterfly. Picciotti and sophomore
Grace Furtado both raced in the C final and finished in 1:02.86 and 1:03.21, respectively. Matthews also raced in the C final of the 100 free and finished in 57.43.
Six Union swimmers competed in the B final of the 200 breaststroke. Senior
Kristina Valenti won the B final in 2:30.86. Senior
Meghan Seidberg (2:36.12), senior
Gabi Acosta (2:36.75), first-year
Kathlyn Pomeroy (2:37.36), and senior
Ally Gowern (2:38.86) rounded out the Garnet Chargers. First-year
Maddie Stanley raced in the C final and finished with a time of 2:48.41.
Valenti competed in the B final of the 200 IM and finished in 2:18.16. The C final saw Bouvier take second with a time of 2:22.32 and Pomeroy finish in 2:25.61.
The 400 free relay teams closed out the meet. The A relay team finished in 11
th with a time of 3:51.65 and was comprised of Matthews, Konsky, Furtado, and Stanley. The B team of Seidberg, senior
Maya Gerber, Acosta, and Ramirez finished in 14
th with a time of 3:56.52.
Union returns to action on Saturday, January 4 when the Garnet Chargers host Amherst College. The first event begins at 1pm at Alumni Gym Pool.
