SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Following another strong week out of the bullpen for the Union College baseball team, senior
Kyle Patlove earned a spot on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, the website announced on Wednesday.
Patlove made three appearances in relief this past week as Union College went 4-1. Patlove picked up his third win of the season in game one of the doubleheader against Skidmore. He turned around and closed out game two to earn his first career save. Patlove pitched 3.2 scoreless innings and only allowed one hit while striking out two.
The senior is 3-0 this season in 13 appearances and one save. He has a career-best 2.33 ERA and is holding opposing batters to a .250 average. In 19.1 innings of work, he's struck out 10.
Patlove is the fourth member of the team to earn D3baseball.come Team of the Week honors this season. Junior

Union is back in action tonight with a 7:00 p.m. first pitch against Russell Sage College at Central Park A Diamond.
