MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Senior Cat Dacey finished fifth in a 129-runner field as the Union College women's cross country team finished eighth at the Cardinal Invitational hosted by Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.

Dacey earned her third top-five finish in her senior campaign with a time of 21:51.0. First-year Kyleigh Record crossed the line second for the Garnet Chargers with a time of 23:13.5 to finish 44th. First-year Bethel Flanagan also finished in the top half with a time of 23:52.5 to finish in 64th. Sophomore Emilie Rosecan and first-year Isla Langsdorf rounded out the scoring for the Garnet Chargers with times of 24:22.0 (81st) and 24:33.2 (86th), respectively.

Union is back in action on Friday at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Saratoga Springs.
