CANTON, N.Y. – The Union College women's cross country team finished the 2025 season with a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships, held on Saturday afternoon at St. Lawrence University's Ronald C. Hoffmann Cross Country Course.
The Garnet Chargers finished the race with 463 points, 10 points shy of Plattsburgh State University in 14th place and 10 points ahead of Salve Regina University in 16th position. In a race that featured six of the top 30 teams in the USTFCCCA national rankings, #1 Williams College (39 points) earned five of the top 11 spots to earn the regional title.
Junior
Annabel Dobash was the first Garnet Charger to cross the finish line in the 6K race, taking 58th place with a time of 23:34.5. She was followed by sophomore
Kyleigh Record, who also finished in the top-half of the 185-runner field with a 70th-place finish in 24:02.6.
First-year
Eilis McKenna took third among Union runners, coming four spots short of a top-100 finish with a time of 25:20.2. Sophomore
Isla Langsdorf (111th place) and first-year
Kate Monaco (124th place) rounded out Union's top-five.
The Garnet Chargers will take the rest of the month off for finals and Thanksgiving Break before the indoor track & field season begins in early December.
