TROY, N.Y. – Junior Maddie Greco was named the Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season to lead five All-Liberty League selections for the Union College field hockey team, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Greco and senior Megan Dorsey were named to the first team, followed by sophomore Rowan Dapson on the second team and both junior Amy Vytopilova and sophomore Aislin Devaney as honorable mentions.
 
Greco and Dorsey both earn first-team honors for the third straight season, joining Yvonne Turchetti '03 (2000-02) as the only players in program history to be selected to three consecutive All-Conference first teams. Dapson earned a second-team nod for the second time in as many seasons, while Devaney and Vytopilova are recognized for the first time. The five honorees are second-most in a season in program history and most since a program-record seven selections in 2008, as well as tied for the most of any Liberty League team this season.
 
Greco is the fifth player in Liberty League field hockey history to earn back-to-back Player of the Year awards and only the second to do so before their senior season, as well as just the seventh student-athlete in Union history to earn multiple conference Player of the Year honors in a career. She scored 16 goals with a career-high eight assists for 40 points as a junior, tying for the Liberty League lead in both points and assists while ranking second in goals and game-winning goals (four). The forward played a role in all four Union goals in the Liberty League Tournament, registering a goal and three assists in two games, and had at least one point in 8-of-9 games against conference foes this year. Through three seasons, Greco already is Union's all-time leader in goals and points with 49 goals and 14 assists for 112 points in 60 games.
 
Dorsey had another strong season in the midfield for Union, scoring six goals with seven assists for 19 points while starting all 21 games. The senior tied for eighth in the Liberty League in points and fourth in assists this year, and finished with at least one point in 11 matches. A two-year team captain and two-time All-Region performer, Dorsey finished her decorated career first all-time at Union with 29 assists and also scored 22 goals for 73 career points, placing her seventh on the school's career points list.
 
Dapson continued her excellent start to her collegiate career with a second straight All-Conference honor as a key member of the defensive and midfield units. In addition to her work on the defensive side of the ball, the sophomore also scored a career-best two goals and added four assists for eight points while starting all 21 games. She has played every game in her first two years at Union, registering three goals and nine assists for 15 points.
 
Vytopilova moved back into the starting lineup as a junior and responded with the best season of her career so far, netting seven goals with four assists for 18 points. The junior ranked third among all Liberty League players in shots on goal and finished in a tie 10th among all conference players in goals scored this season, providing an active presence near the opposing net. In 56 career games, Vytopilova has registered nine goals with six assists for 24 points headed into her senior year.
 
Devaney started all 21 games as part of the defensive unit for Union during her sophomore season, recording a team-leading three defensive saves and playing a key role as the team's last line of defense. The sophomore led the team in minutes played on the season and came off the field for only nine total minutes in the team's final 13 games of the year. She also recorded her first collegiate point in the team's win over Russell Sage College as well.
 
The All-Conference quintet helped Union to a second straight share of the Liberty League regular-season title and a top-two seed in the postseason, as well as the first conference tournament victory in program history. Four of the team's five All-Conference selections are slated to return in 2026, when the Garnet Chargers will look to continue their upward trajectory and once again vie for the program's first conference title.
