ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College men's swimming and diving opened the 2025 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
The Garnet Chargers sit in seventh place with 80 points after the first day of competition.

Drew Hill earned a seventh place finish with a time of 3:37.59.
Hill earned a spot in the B final of the 50 free with a time of 21.31 in the preliminary session before turning in a 21.40 in the finals to finish third. Senior
Walter Kraus earned a spot in the C final and swam a season-best time of 22.27 to finish seventh.

Tony Piacentini placed third in the C final of the 500 free with a career-best time of 4:47.63.
Javier set a career-best in the 200 IM in the morning session with a time of 2:05.31 to earn a spot in the C final and closed out the race with a time of 2:06.40 to earn two points for Union.
