ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College women's swimming and diving opened the 2025 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.

Union sits in ninth place with 27 points.

Senior Kristina Valenti claimed the top spot in the C final of the 200 IM with a season-best best time of 2:16.03. Senior Molly Miller placed sixth in the C final with a time of 2:20.96 while sophomore Grace Furtado finished with a career-best 2:22.74 in the event.

Junior Alison Silver and sophomore Sarah Ramirez both earned spots in the C final of the 50 free. Silver finished fifth in the final with a personal best time of 26.06 and Ramirez finished in seventh with a career-best time of 26.56.

The 400 yard medley relay team of sophomore Amelia Dino, senior Meghan Seidberg, senior Maya Gerber, and Ramirez placed fifth in the C final with a time of 4:15.18, 3.49 seconds faster than their time in the preliminary race.

Union kicks off day two of the Liberty League Championship tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m.
