Men's Swimming and Diving Competes on Day Two of the Liberty League Championships

ITHACA, N.Y.
– The Union College men's swimming and diving competed in day two of the 2025 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.

The Garnet Chargers held onto seventh place after two days of competition and sit 46 points back from sixth-place Vassar College.

The 200 free relay team of junior Benjamin Sperling, senior Walter Kraus, senior James Javier Jr., and junior Drew Hill finished sixth to earn a spot on the podium.

Hill claimed a spot on the podium in the 100 fly with a time of 50.61 to finish eighth. First-year Brayden Green earned a spot in the B final and finished sixth with a career-best time of 52.07 and Kraus finished in 54.11 in the C final.

First-year Finn Weafer made his debut in the 400 IM C final with a career-best time of 4:44.47 which was five seconds faster than the morning session.

Union is set for day three of the Liberty League Championship tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
