ITHACA, N.Y. – After four days of competition, the Union College men's swimming and diving team finished in seventh place at the 2025 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Ithaca College.
Union earned 356 points and finished seventh out of 10 teams.
The 400 free relay team of junior
Drew Hill, first-year
Brayden Green, junior Ben Sperling, and junior
Josh Hiller placed seventh with a time of 3:17.25, marking a drop of just over three seconds from the preliminary race.
Senior
Tony Piacentini placed ninth overall in the 1650 freestyle with a career best time of 16:48.27. First-year
Finn Weafer placed 20
th with a time of 18:30.13.
Green placed fourth in the B final of the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:09.44. Grene's time earned him a spot on Union's All-Time Top 10s list.
Hill took the top spot in the 100 free C final with a time of 47.31 to set a new career best.
Hiller secured a spot in the C final of the 200 backstroke and placed sixth with a time of 2:04.17.
First-year
Crosby Grim earned a place in the C final of the 200 breaststroke and finished in 2:23.79.
