SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College is holding its annual giving challenge, ADay4U, on Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3, when students, alumni, friends, parents and staff come together for 1,795 minutes of celebrating and supporting Union!
 
Gifts to the Department of Athletics on ADay4U help to supplement team budgets and assist in providing the best experience possible for our nearly 600 student-athletes, including upgraded and expanded travel, additional team apparel, supplemental technology equipment, facility enhancements, and more. Current Athletics Challenges/Matches:
Women's Athletics Fund: 50 donors to the Women's Athletics Fund will unlock $2,000 from Jamie Dughi '08 and David '06 Hogenkamp.
Women's Athletics Fund: All gifts to the Women's Athletics Fund will be matched 2:1 (up to $50,000) by Don Lehmann '66.
Friends of Union Athletics: 200 donors to Friends of Union Athletics will unlock $5,000 from Doug Horan '67.
Women's Basketball: 60 donors to the women's basketball team will unlock $5,000 from a Union basketball family.
Men's and Women's Crew: All gifts to the men's and women's crew teams will be matched (up to $5,000) by Peter Schwab '93.
Field Hockey: The first $5,000 in gifts to the field hockey team from alumni will be matched by Patty Donaldson '92, HOF Team '25.
Field Hockey: The first $1,000 in gifts to the field hockey team from parents will be matched by the Parker/Taylor P'28 Family.
Football: 100 donors to the football team will unlock $2,000 from Scott Newton '95.
Football: 100 donors to the football team will unlock $2,000 from Scott Newton '95.
Football: All gifts to the football team will be matched (up to $25,000) from Trustee Bill '71 and Pamela Wicker P'12 P'20.
Men's Hockey: All gifts to the men's hockey team will be matched (up to $50,000) by Mort Silver '55.
Women's Hockey: All gifts to the women's hockey team will be matched 2:1 (up to $30,000) by a Union hockey family.
Men's Lacrosse: 280 donors to the men's lacrosse team will unlock $10,000 from John Keller '91.
Women's Lacrosse: 100 donors to the women's lacrosse team will unlock $1,000 from Keri (Messa) Foley '08.
Men's Soccer: All gifts to the men's soccer team will be matched (up to $10,000) by a Union Soccer family.
Men's Soccer: Head coach John Ciano will match $5 for the first 200 gifts of $5 or more to the men's soccer team (up to $1,000).
Women's Soccer: 90 donors to the women's soccer team will unlock $5,000 from a Union Soccer family. 
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving: 100 donors to the swimming and diving teams will unlock $1,000 from a '28 UCSD family.
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving: 200 donors to the swimming and diving teams will unlock $2,000 from a '29 UCSD family.
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving: All gifts to the swimming & diving teams will be matched (up to $7,500) by Bill West '75.
Men's and Women's Tennis: All gifts to the tennis teams will be matched (up to $5,000) by Friends of Union Tennis.
Men's and Women's Track & Field: 50 donors to the track & field teams will unlock $1,000 from former head coach Dave Riggi '97.
Men's and Women's Track & Field: All gifts to the track & field teams will be matched (up to $5,000) by Christopher Strohsahl '01.
Women's Volleyball: All gifts to the women's volleyball team will be matched (up to $4,500) by a Union Volleyball family.

Class of 1995: 20 donors from the Class of 1995 will unlock $500 from Amye Kurson '95.
Class of 2006: 20 donors from the Class of 2006 will unlock $2,000 from Vin Mattone '06.
First-Time Donors: 50 first-time donors will unlock $1,000 from the Alumni Council.
Faculty/Staff: 100 faculty/staff donors will unlock $1,500 from Adam Shanno.
1,000 Donors: 1,000 donors will unlock $20,000 from Trustee Robert Bertagna '85 and Julianne Bertagna.
1,795 Donors: 1,795 donors will unlock $50,000 from Trustee Arthur Holden '77 and Betsy Holden.
