POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Union College women's cross country team finished fourth in the nine-team field at Saturday's Ron Stonitsch Invitational, hosted by Vassar College at Vassar Farm.

The Garnet Chargers finished the race with 127 points, finishing behind three nationally ranked teams and comfortably ahead of Ramapo College of New Jersey (147) in fifth. USTFCCCA #2 Williams College took first place with 26 points, followed by #16 Vassar (44) and #19 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (79).

While the Garnet Chargers did not have a finisher inside the top 20, Union's top quintet ran a consistent 5K race and all finished within 10 spots of each other on the scoring list. Junior
Annabel Dobash paced the team with a time of 19:55.2 that placed her 22nd overall, a few spots ahead of sophomore
Kyleigh Record (20:02.4) in 26th position.

Kate Monaco and
Josephine Withbroe both cracked the top 40 as well, with Monaco finishing in 20:39.0 (32nd) and Withbroe coming in about 20 seconds later in 20:59.6 (36th). Sophomore
Charlotte Knight rounded out the top-five scorers by placing 44th in 21:25.8.

Union will be back on the course next Saturday at Wesleyan University's Cardinal Invitational.
