COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Union College men's outdoor track & field team competed on day one of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships, held at Ursinus College's Patterson Field on Wednesday afternoon.
The Garnet Chargers took part in only two events on day one and did not record a score.
Senior
Jason Bois led off the afternoon for the Garnet Chargers in the 110-meter hurdles, placing 23rd with a time of 15.36 seconds and improving on his 28th seed entering the event. Bois, who will finish his collegiate career as the school record holder in both the indoor 60 hurdles and outdoor 110 hurdles, bested 12 other runners on the day.
Senior
Nick Entner represented Union in the field events on Wednesday. The senior placed 21st out of 28 competitors in the javelin throw, posting a top distance of 50.19 meters in the final event of his collegiate career.
Union will compete in three more events on tomorrow's second and final day of the AARTFC Championships, which will begin at 10 a.m.
