SCHENECTADY, NY – The Union men's swimming & diving team lost a home meet to Williams College, 185-91 Wednesday night at the Alumni Gym pool.

This week's Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Steve Schapp (Torrington, CT/Torrington), finished second in the 500 free with a time of 4:56.29. Steve Cohen (Chappaqua, NY/Horace Greeley) was the victor in the one meter dive with a score of 231.82. Shane Hubbell (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh) took first in the 200 IM at 2:13.51.

The Union 400 free relay team was first, featuring Jack Honor (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh), Todd Herman (Bala Cynwyd, NY/Shipley), Schapp and Kevin Kewin (Brockport, NY/Brockport).

The Dutchmen host Ithaca Saturday at 2 p.m. in a meet originally scheduled at Ithaca.
